Role Description The Operations Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, including coordinating waste collection and processing schedules, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. The Operations Executive will track operational performance, analyze process efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives across recycling and waste-to-energy projects. The role includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners such as suppliers, clients, and transport providers to maintain smooth operations and timely delivery. The Operations Executive will also assist with documentation, reporting, and implementation of operational policies aligned with ECOBIONEX’s sustainability and circular-economy goals.

Job Duties

• Build and maintain relationships with waste collectors and suppliers.
• Source recyclable materials and coordinate collections.
• Manage relationships with buyers and coordinate deliveries.
• Arrange transportation and monitor daily operations.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers, waste collectors and buyers.
• Track inventory, documentation, and payments.
• Prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
• Support business growth by onboarding new collectors and buyers.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with waste collectors, suppliers, buyers, restaurants, and food manufacturers.
• Source recyclable materials and Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and coordinate timely collections.
• Onboard restaurants, hotels, food manufacturers, and other UCO-generating businesses to achieve collection and business targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational qualification; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in waste management, recycling, UCO collection, procurement, sales, business development, or supply chain operations will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and business development activities.
