Job Description
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- System Installation & Setup: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux/Mac) and essential business applications.
- Networking & Connectivity: Manage and maintain Local Area Network (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity. Monitor routers, switch, and ensure stable network performance.
- System Security: Perform regular system updates, patch management, and antivirus monitoring to protect against security threats.
- Communication Systems: Support IP telephony systems, video conferencing tools, and office communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack).
- Server & Backup Operations: Assist in server maintenance and backup operations to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Security & Surveillance: Install and manage CCTV systems, Access Control, and Biometric attendance devices.
- User Management: Manage corporate email accounts, handle password resets, and configure user permissions for various software and ERP systems.
- Data Backup & Security: Ensure regular data backups and maintain up-to-date antivirus/firewall protection to secure the company’s digital assets.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (RAM, Hard Disks, Motherboards, etc.) and process requisitions for new equipment.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and third-party hardware vendors for repairs or service-related issues.
- Remote & On-site Support: Provide technical assistance to employees both in-person and via remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer).
- Project Participation: Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, new hardware/software installations, and migrations.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and information security standards within the organization.
- Graphic Design: Perform basic photo editing, resizing, and banner designing using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for internal communications or social media.
- Video Editing: Assist in basic video trimming, subtitle adding, or creating short clips using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Camtasia.
