Incoming Quality Control Technician

Role Description The Incoming Quality Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Gazipur. This position is responsible for inspecting and testing incoming mobile devices, components, and accessories to ensure they meet company and manufacturer quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include visual inspection, functional testing, verification against specifications, and documentation of inspection results. The technician will identify nonconforming items, prepare reports, and coordinate with warehouse, production, and technical teams to resolve quality issues. The role also involves maintaining quality records, following standard operating procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the incoming quality control process.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate visual and functional inspections of mobile devices and components.
• Basic technical understanding of smartphones, mobile accessories, and electronic components, including common defects and fault symptoms.
• Competence in using quality control tools, checklists, and test procedures, as well as maintaining organized documentation and records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with warehouse, production, service, and management teams.
• Ability to follow established quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines, and to escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, data entry systems) for logging inspection data and preparing reports.
• Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field; prior experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing or distribution environment is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gazipur and adapt to a fast-paced environment with set production and inspection targets.
