About the Role
Right Talent has been retained by a premier manufacturing business in Bangladesh to recruit an experienced HR Manager.
In this pivotal leadership role based in Dhaka, you will oversee end-to-end human resource operations, factory HR, labor compliance, and talent management. You will serve as a strategic partner to company leadership while maintaining operational excellence and healthy industrial relations across all manufacturing and corporate sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Labor Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006 (and 2015 Rules), statutory compliance, factory licenses, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Industrial Relations & Factory HR: Maintain workplace harmony, manage worker relations, handle disciplinary actions, and oversee shift management, attendance, and welfare initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with internal heads and Right Talent to recruit key talent, while overseeing high-volume technical and factory floor recruitment.
- Performance & Rewards: Lead the annual KPI and performance appraisal cycles, and manage payroll validation, festival bonuses, and terminal benefits.
- Organizational Development: Identify capability gaps and design targeted training programs to enhance productivity and workplace safety.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HRM, Business Administration (BBA/MBA), or Law (LL.B). PGDHRM is highly preferred.
- Experience: 7–10 years of overall HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment in Bangladesh (e.g., RMG, FMCG, Textile, Pharma, or Heavy Industry).
- Expertise: Deep expertise in Bangladesh Labour Law, dispute resolution, HRIS platforms, and factory compliance standards.
- Skills: Excellent command of English and Bengali, strong negotiation capabilities, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
