Role Description This is a full-time, on-site House Construction role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The position involves overseeing and participating in day-to-day construction activities, including coordinating labor, managing materials, and ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring site safety, inspecting ongoing work for quality and compliance, and reporting progress to supervisors or project managers. The role also entails working with architects and engineers to interpret drawings, supporting budget and timeline control, and addressing on-site issues as they arise. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse team to ensure residential projects are delivered efficiently and to agreed standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Construction skills, including practical knowledge of building methods, materials, and site operations.
• Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills, such as understanding drawings, layouts, and basic design concepts for residential buildings.
• Candidates should possess Inspection skills, with the ability to check work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes and project specifications.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including assisting with cost estimates, managing resource use, and supporting project cost control.
• Candidates should possess Microsoft Office skills for preparing reports, maintaining project documentation, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in residential or commercial construction projects in Bangladesh is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of local building regulations, safety standards, and construction best practices is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively on-site under varying conditions.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is an advantage.
