Eco Travels is a Bangladesh-based travel agency providing air ticketing, visa processing, holiday packages, hotel booking, and Hajj & Umrah services. We operate from our own office in Uttara and serve travellers across Bangladesh and abroad.

We are looking for an experienced Holiday Package Consultant to design, price, and sell tour packages to our customers. You will be the person a traveller talks to from their first enquiry until they board the plane - understanding what they want, building the right package, and closing the sale.

This is a client-facing role that also involves daily communication with overseas suppliers, so fluency in spoken English is essential. If you enjoy talking to people, know destinations well, and can turn an enquiry into a confirmed booking, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming enquiries for holiday packages over the phone, WhatsApp, email, walk-in, and social media
• Understand each client's budget, travel dates, and preferences, and recommend suitable destinations
• Design and customise tour packages - flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and visa support
• Prepare accurate quotations and costings; negotiate and close sales
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and overseas suppliers to confirm bookings and secure competitive rates
• Manage bookings end-to-end: confirmation, documentation, payment follow-up, and pre-departure briefing
• Stay current on popular destinations (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Dubai, Nepal, Vietnam, and others), visa requirements, seasonal fares, and promotions
• Maintain client records and follow up with past customers for repeat business
• Support the marketing team with package content, offers, and destination information
• Meet monthly sales targets

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in holiday package sales, tour operations, or a related role at a travel agency or tour operator
• Proven record of selling outbound tour packages

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A background in Tourism & Hospitality Management is an advantage.

Language - Mandatory

• Must be fluent in spoken English. This is a non-negotiable requirement. You will speak with overseas hotels, DMCs, and airline representatives daily, and with foreign and NRB clients - you must be able to hold a professional conversation in English confidently and without hesitation.
• Strong written English for emails, quotations, and supplier correspondence
• Fluency in Bangla

Note: spoken English will be assessed during the interview.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of popular outbound destinations, itineraries, and current pricing
• Confident communicator and negotiator with genuine customer service instincts
• Comfortable with MS Office, email, and travel booking systems; GDS experience (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is a plus
• Able to work under pressure and handle several bookings at once
• Accurate with numbers, costings, and documentation
• Honest, organised, and dependable
