Role Description The Higher Education Consultant role is a full-time remote position focused on guiding prospective students through every stage of their study abroad journey. Day-to-day tasks include advising students on suitable universities and programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals, and supporting them with application forms, documentation, and admission requirements. The consultant will assist with visa guidance, scholarship research, and preparation of supporting materials, while maintaining accurate records and tracking each student’s progress. This role involves regular online consultations, responding to inquiries through email and messaging platforms, and collaborating with international partner institutions to stay updated on admission criteria and timelines. The consultant is expected to provide clear, empathetic communication, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and contribute to continuous improvement of advising processes and resources.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Educational Consulting and higher Education advising, with a strong understanding of international admissions processes.
• Experience in Consulting and student guidance, including the ability to assess individual needs and recommend appropriate academic pathways.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly and respectfully to diverse audiences.
• Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, active listening, and problem-solving to support students and families throughout the application cycle.
• Familiarity with global higher education systems and study abroad destinations; prior work with universities or educational agencies is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with comfort handling multiple student cases in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency with online communication tools, CRM or student management systems, and standard office software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in academic advising or counseling are an advantage.
