The Health Club & Spa Manager will be responsible for the overall management, operation, profitability and guest experience of the hotel`s Health Club, Spa and Recreation facilities.
The position will ensure a safe, hygienic, professional and commercially successful operation while maintaining the hotel`s service standards. The role will oversee operations, wellness services, sales, guest relations, team management, financial control and business development.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the Health Club, Spa, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool and related recreational facilities.
- Ensure all facilities, equipment, treatments and services meet the hotel`s quality, safety and hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement Spa & Wellness services, treatment programs and guest experiences.
- Monitor departmental revenue, expenses, profitability and overall financial performance.
- Develop sales strategies, membership programs, packages and promotional initiatives to maximize revenue.
- Build strong relationships with hotel guests, members, corporate clients and external customers.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, coach, mentor and lead Health Club & Spa team members.
- Prepare duty rosters, monitor staff performance and ensure adequate staffing based on business requirements.
- Maintain proper inventory and control of spa products, equipment, supplies and operating materials.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety procedures and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and introduce new wellness, fitness and spa services where commercially viable.
- Prepare operational, financial and performance reports for management.
- Play an active role in the pre-opening, setup and launch of the Health Club & Spa operation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
