- Lead and manage the Pattern, Sample & CAD team for the Knit Business.
- Oversee the complete technical development process from design concept to production-ready samples.
- Develop, review and approve patterns, measurements, grading and technical specifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely development of patterns, samples and CAD files as per buyer requirements.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Design, Production, IE and Quality teams for smooth product development.
- Review fit, construction, measurements and technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure proper execution of fit samples, size sets, pre-production samples and production patterns.
- Monitor technical accuracy and minimize pattern/sample-related issues, alterations and production rejections.
- Guide and develop team members and ensure efficient utilization of CAD and technical resources.
- Ensure all technical activities comply with buyer requirements, approved specifications and production standards.
- Experience: 11+ years
- Education:
- Skills: technical knowledge of knitting, technical knowledge of garment production, knit garment production, knit garment manufacturing, pattern making, garment industry knowledge, patternmaking, knitting expertise, textile design, creative pattern cutting
