Role Description The Head of Plant is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations. This role includes managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet output targets and regulatory requirements. The Head of Plant will develop and implement production plans, optimize processes, manage resources, and monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs. Responsibilities also include overseeing budgets related to plant operations, tracking key performance indicators, enforcing safety and compliance policies, and mentoring plant staff to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management, with experience leading manufacturing or pharmaceutical plant activities.
• Proficiency in Production Planning and scheduling to meet demand, optimize capacity, and reduce downtime.
• Expertise in Quality Control, with a solid understanding of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and product quality assurance.
• Capability in Budgeting and cost control to manage operational expenses and support efficient resource allocation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a production environment, ideally within pharmaceuticals or healthcare manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage diverse teams.
