- Lead and manage all mechanical, electrical, utility, and maintenance operations of the factory.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
- Ensure smooth operation of utility systems, electrical power systems, hydraulic systems, compressors, boilers, air compressors, generators, and other plant utilities.
- Plan and supervise maintenance activities of heavy industrial machinery.
- Lead plant upgradation, modernization, capacity enhancement, and modification projects.
- Manage workshop operations, maintenance planning, and spare parts inventory.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring problems.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimum production downtime.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and control maintenance costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Management to achieve operational excellence.
- Experience: 12+ years
- Education: bachelor of science in mechanical engineering
- Skills: mechanical maintenance, maintenance engineering, manufacturing engineering, facilities maintenance, facility maintenance, manufacturing operations management, plant maintenance, equipment maintenance, knowledge of maintenance procedures
