Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and commercially driven Head of Design to lead our Design Team in developing innovative, trend-focused, and market-relevant men's and women's apparel collections. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design process, from trend research and concept development to final product execution, while leading a team of four designers. The Head of Design will work closely with merchandising, sourcing, product development, and production teams to deliver commercially successful collections that align with the company's brand vision, quality standards, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
• Define the seasonal design direction and oversee the development of men's and women's apparel collections across multiple product categories.
• Conduct global trend research, competitor analysis, consumer insight reviews, and market forecasting to identify commercial opportunities.
• Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, fabric direction, prints, and silhouettes aligned with the brand identity.
• Create and review design sketches, technical drawings, tech packs, and product specifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Select fabrics, trims, washes, prints, and accessories while driving product innovation through new materials and construction techniques.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample teams, and technical staff to ensure fit, construction quality, and design integrity throughout development.
• Review prototypes, conduct fittings, and provide clear feedback to ensure products meet design, quality, and commercial expectations.
• Partner with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to balance design creativity with cost targets, manufacturability, delivery timelines, and profitability.
• Oversee the seasonal design calendar, ensuring timely execution of all design milestones.
• Maintain consistency in brand aesthetics and product quality across all collections.
• Present seasonal concepts and collection reviews to senior management and provide strategic design recommendations.
• Continuously evaluate collection performance and customer feedback to improve future product development.
