The Head of Business Development & Partnerships is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and achieving the business development objectives of the assigned business unit. The role will serve as the commercial growth leader of the assigned business unit and will be accountable for sales performance, partnership acquisition and development, business growth, event revenue, customer acquisition, and key stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business growth targets.
2. Develop and execute business development, sales, and partnership strategies to accelerate growth.
3. Build, manage, and continuously strengthen a healthy sales pipeline and conversion funnel.
4. Identify, pursue, negotiate, and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
5. Develop and expand corporate, university, training, consulting, institutional, and channel partner networks.
6. Drive new customer acquisition, retention, account development, and recurring revenue growth.
7. Generate sponsorship, delegate, partnership, and other commercial revenue from events, training programs, and business initiatives.
8. Lead, coach, and supervise assigned Business Development and Event team members, ensuring achievement of individual and team targets.
9. Monitor business performance, market opportunities, pipeline health, and conversion rates, and prepare sales forecasts and growth plans.
10. Represent the organization in client and partner meetings, presentations, conferences, networking events, and business negotiations.
11. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, reporting requirements, commercial processes, and governance standards.
12. Submit regular performance reports, market insights, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to the Executive Board to support decision-making and continuous business growth.

Compensation & Other Benefits :

• Fixed Salary: Tk 130,000 [+/- Depending on experience]

Education

• Bachelor/Honors

Experience

• At least 12 years (Preferably in sales, business development, operation management).
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, BPO/ Data Entry Firm, Call Center
