We are seeking experienced Google Cloud Engineers who are passionate about building, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices, with expertise in tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates with prior experience in cloud migration and cost optimization will have a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent tools.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters on GKE for containerized applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, networking, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
- Lead cloud migration projects and provide technical support for cloud-based applications.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) and logging systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience in cloud migration or cost optimization is a significant advantage.
