GM - Quality & Technical

Join a well-reputed and growing manufacturing organization as GM – Quality & Technical at our Factory in Mymensingh Bhaluka. We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic and internationally experienced AGM – Quality & Technical to lead and strengthen the quality and technical functions of our manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in garment construction, fit, quality systems, and production processes across menswear, ladieswear, and kids wear, with a focus on twill and denim fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for co-ordination with factories, fabric & accessories suppliers and ensuring smooth flow of production
• Responsible for Sampling developments, production approvals and quality management
• Designing quality management systems and training the quality department
• Responsible for New product development and sampling
• Responsible for Order Processing from approval stage to sewing line execution
• Responsible for complete Merchandising communication for any necessary requirements from clients
• Analyze the line-wise productions, line balancing, workers individual efficiency, production efficiency
• Utilize the high level of Manpower and Machine Efficiency
• Conduct the training program for the un-skilled operators, supervisors and Quality controllers
• Give technical guidelines to the production team to improve productivity and quality (like folders, combining process, usage of modern machines and attachments)
• Monitor the Pilot run and ensure the first bulk output is produced as per customer expectation
• Implementation of upgradation program / best practices like operator self-checking module, Process and Person calibration of Quality team, Defect escalation and Quality Training program
• Follow the Standard operation procedure (SOP) in all departments

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Garment Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in quality and technical roles within apparel manufacturing and buying house operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an AGM-level role managing multiple vendors/factories for Buying office.
• Proven expertise in menswear, ladieswear, and kids wear, with experience in twill and denim fabrics.
• Knowledge of factory compliance, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and productivity improvement practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams across multiple product categories while maintaining compliance standards.
