Job Description
Supervise and coordinate daily ghat (jetty) operations for smooth loading and unloading of cement and raw materials.
Monitor vessel/barge loading and unloading activities and ensure timely completion of operations.
Coordinate with vessel operators, transporters, warehouse, production and logistics teams.
Maintain proper records of loading, unloading, stock movement and dispatch activities.
Ensure proper handling, stacking and movement of materials to minimize loss and damage.
Monitor manpower and operational activities at the ghat and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Assist in resolving operational issues and maintaining uninterrupted workflow.
Prepare daily operational reports and communicate updates to the concerned departments.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness and operational discipline at the ghat area.
