Geospatial Researcher | $12/hr Remote

Role:Domain Expert - Geography

Type: Short-Term Contract (8 Weeks)

Compensation: $9 - $12 per hour

Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week with a minimum 4-hour overlap with PST

Role Responsibilities

• Review and validate content covering physical geography, human geography, countries, capitals, climate, geopolitics, demographics, maps, GIS, and environmental systems.
• Evaluate completed tasks for factual accuracy, reasoning quality, completeness, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, logical inconsistencies, outdated information, and low-quality content.
• Assess prompts for relevance, difficulty, and alignment with project requirements.
• Provide clear, constructive, and evidence-based feedback to improve content quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional, research, teaching, or industry experience in Geography, Geoscience, Environmental Science, GIS, Urban Planning, or a closely related field.
• Master's degree or higher in Geography, Geoscience, Environmental Science, GIS, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of physical and human geography, GIS, mapping, climate, demographics, geopolitics, countries, and environmental systems.
• Excellent written English communication and strong analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify factual, logical, and contextual errors.
