Responsibilities
- Inspect, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service mechanical equipment and systems throughout the hotel.
- Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Monitor the operational condition and performance of HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and take appropriate corrective action to minimize equipment downtime.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, compressors, generators and other engineering equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, equipment manuals and technical documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and identify potential faults before breakdown occurs.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, breakdowns and repair work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments and ensure timely resolution.
- Follow all engineering, occupational health & safety and hotel operational procedures.
- Coordinate with other Engineering team members and relevant departments during maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and organized.
- Support the Engineering team during hotel pre-opening activities, testing, commissioning and operational readiness.
- Perform other mechanical maintenance duties as assigned by the management.
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education: diploma in mechanical engineering
