Job Context

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Corporate and Personal Tax matters of the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable Income Tax, VAT and other relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, demands, queries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Represent the company before relevant Tax Authorities, Tax Offices, Tribunals, Appellate Authorities, and other statutory bodies.
- Prepare and handle tax hearings, appeals, reviews, revisions, and related proceedings.
- Prepare and review documents, statements, submissions, replies, and supporting evidence for tax hearings and appeals.
- Develop effective tax planning and tax risk management strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Advise management on the tax implications of business transactions, investments, contracts, and other strategic decisions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws, SROs, rules, regulations, and government policies and advise management accordingly.
- Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants, Tax Advocates, lawyers, auditors, and consultants when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, statements, reports, and other statutory documents.
- Lead the tax team and provide strategic direction for all taxation-related activities.
- Experience: 8-15 years
- Education: master of business administration in accounting
