About The Position
Salton Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead the company`s Sales & Marketing function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, achieving business and revenue targets, strengthening the company`s product portfolio and brands, expanding market coverage, and leading a high-performing field force.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategies in line with the company`s business objectives.
- Take overall responsibility for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop annual sales and marketing plans, budgets and business forecasts.
- Lead, motivate and monitor the performance of the entire sales and marketing team.
- Set territory-wise, region-wise and product-wise sales targets and monitor achievement.
- Develop strategies for increasing prescription generation, product demand and market penetration.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Develop effective strategies for existing products as well as new product launches.
- Strengthen the company`s brands through ethical and scientifically sound promotional activities.
- Develop and implement effective promotional campaigns for doctors, healthcare professionals, institutions and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure effective utilization of promotional materials, samples and marketing budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, consultants, hospitals, clinics, distributors and other business partners.
- Strengthen the company`s distribution network and ensure optimum product availability throughout the market.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for geographic and product expansion.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, market intelligence and business performance reports to the Managing Director.
- Establish appropriate KPIs and performance measurement systems for the Sales & Marketing team.
- Develop incentive and performance improvement strategies for the field force.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop sales and marketing personnel.
- Conduct regular field visits and review territory, regional and divisional performance.
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotional strategies, product launches and market activities.
- Experience: 12-15 years
