A Leading Garment & Textiles Manufacturing Group of Companies in Bangladesh is looking for a proven Internal Audit professional. The Incumbent will develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations and accounting standards.
- Develop and implement annual audit plans that align with the company`s overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Supervise the internal audit team to ensure that audit projects are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with established standards.
- Manage the risk assessment process to identify and evaluate potential areas of risk and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on the progress of audit projects to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Ensure that audit findings are properly documented, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other departments to provide advice and guidance on internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to internal auditors and other staff on audit methodologies, tools, and techniques. Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to internal audit.
- Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to internal audit.
- Experience: 15+ years
- Education: master of business administration in accounting
