General Manager Finance

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Finance to lead corporate finance, strategic financial planning, banking operations, statutory compliance, and financial risk management for a leading export-oriented Knit Apparel & Textile Group.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial risk assessment.

• Monitor working capital and ensure optimum utilization of financial resources.

• Manage local and international banking operations, including loans, trade finance, and Back-to-Back LCs.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions and negotiate favorable banking facilities and costs.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh VAT, Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory/regulatory requirements.

• Oversee company secretarial matters, annual returns, statutory documentation, and regulatory submissions.

• Coordinate with auditors, legal advisers, regulatory authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders.

• Provide timely and strategic financial insights, reports, and recommendations to Top Management.

• Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.

• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance across the organization.

Educational Qualification

• MBA in Finance / Master's in Accounting from a reputed university.

• FCA, FCCA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualification will be strongly preferred.

🔹 Experience & Competencies

• 12–25+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, preferably in a large composite textile, knitwear, apparel, or RMG group in Bangladesh.

• Strong expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, banking operations, trade finance, Back-to-Back LCs, taxation, VAT, audit, and statutory compliance.

• Strong understanding of Bangladesh's financial and regulatory environment.

• Proven experience in managing banking relationships, project financing, loans, and trade facilities.

• Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to work closely with Top Management and contribute to strategic financial and business decisions.
