Role Description The General Manager Commercial is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattogram, Bangladesh. This role oversees all commercial activities, including pricing, contracts, customer relationships, and coordination with production and supply chain teams. Daily responsibilities include managing commercial operations, monitoring financial performance and margins, ensuring timely delivery and order fulfillment, and aligning commercial strategies with overall business objectives. The General Manager Commercial leads and mentors the commercial team, reviews market trends, prepares reports for senior leadership, and supports strategic decisions to improve profitability and competitiveness. The role also involves close collaboration with finance, operations, and senior management to maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong General Management and Team Management skills to lead commercial teams and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Strategic Planning skills to optimize commercial processes and align activities with business goals.
• Candidates should possess sound Finance skills to manage pricing, margins, budgeting, and commercial risk.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in garments, textiles, or manufacturing sectors in a senior commercial or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Chattogram, Bangladesh, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
