Role Description The General Manager and HOD Boston Scientific role at GME GROUP is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The role involves overseeing the Boston Scientific portfolio, including strategic planning, sales management, and operational execution to meet business and clinical objectives. The individual will lead a team, set performance targets, monitor sales pipelines, and ensure effective coordination with marketing, service, and logistics functions. Daily responsibilities include engaging with key healthcare clients, developing business opportunities, managing vendor and principal relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant healthcare regulations. The role also includes forecasting, budgeting, reporting on performance metrics, and mentoring team members to drive growth and maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience heading a department or business unit.
• Demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, and key account management in healthcare or medical devices.
• Solid understanding of medical imaging or interventional medical technologies; experience with global healthcare brands is an advantage.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and analyze market and performance data.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including relationship-building with clinicians and hospital management.
• Proven capability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make data-informed decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biomedical engineering, healthcare management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
• Relevant experience in a senior management role within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical sector.
