Position: General Manager – Transport & Distribution

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Transport, Logistics & Distribution, preferably in the Cement/Manufacturing Industry.

Salary: 300k

BBA / MBA in any discipline

Key Responsibilities

1.Develop and implement effective logistics and distribution strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.

2.Forecast product demand and prepare distribution schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

3.Analyze and optimize distribution networks to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency.

4.Oversee all aspects of transportation operations, including fleet management, logistics outsourcing, and third-party service provider management.

5.Plan and coordinate transportation routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries to customers, distributors, and retail locations.

6.Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation service providers, ensuring cost-effective solutions and high service quality.

7.Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics and distribution team to achieve operational excellence.

8.Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective transportation and distribution operations across the organization.
