Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, and alignment with company policies and regulatory standards. This role will lead cross-functional teams, set performance targets, monitor key business metrics, and drive continuous improvement in processes and productivity. The General Manager will collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, resource allocation, and expansion initiatives, while managing budgets, risk, and stakeholder relationships. The position also involves mentoring managers, fostering a culture of accountability and safety, and supporting Eskayef’s long-term growth in both local and international markets.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience guiding cross-functional teams and developing managerial talent.
• Proven operational management expertise in pharmaceuticals or a closely related regulated industry, with familiarity in production, quality, and supply chain processes.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ideally with exposure to international regulatory standards.
• Business acumen in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, with a track record of improving efficiency and profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Ability to analyze data, use metrics and KPIs for decision-making, and implement process improvements based on evidence and best practices.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Prior senior management experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare manufacturing, preferably within a highly regulated environment.
• Strong ethical standards, commitment to safety, and alignment with Eskayef’s focus on quality and patient well-being.
