Job Description

Job Description:

Strativ is a software company based in Sweden and Bangladesh. We are looking for ambitious engineers with strong Go experience who want to build across the full stack. Our work involves complex distributed systems and a growing amount of AI driven product development, often in areas where the right approach has not been figured out yet.

This is a full-stack role. Go is the primary skill set, and that part is not negotiable. If you are strong in React but new to Go, this is not the right fit. React experience is not required on day one, but the willingness to learn React and work across the stack is a prerequisite. If your goal is to stay purely backend, this position will not suit you.

We also work in an AI native SDLC. AI-assisted development is not something we experiment with on the side, it runs through how we plan, build, review, and ship. We use AI agents for coding every day, so we need people who already know how to work this way and get real results from it.

You will work directly with our international clients, so strong spoken English is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go within a microservice architecture.
  • Build and maintain frontend applications in React and TypeScript, either from day one or by growing into it with support from the team.
  • Take features from an unclear problem statement through to production, and own them afterwards.
  • Work with AI-driven systems and LLM integrations, including problems where there is no established playbook.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and coding agents as part of your daily workflow.
  • Design APIs and service boundaries, and handle the operational realities of distributed systems such as inter-service communication, failure handling, and observability.
  • Talk directly with foreign clients and non-technical stakeholders. Understand what they need, explain trade-offs, and stand behind your technical decisions.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code review, and how the team works.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, including solid commercial experience in Go.
  • Strong grasp of Go fundamentals: goroutines and channels, context handling, interfaces, error handling, and testing.
  • Experience with Go web frameworks such as Gin, Echo or Fiber, and building REST or gRPC APIs.
  • Working knowledge of React and TypeScript, or a real commitment to learning them. Willingness to work as a full-stack developer is a hard requirement.
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development. You should already be working with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, and be comfortable with agentic and multi-agent coding workflows. We expect you to know where these tools help, where they fail, and how to review what they produce.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases. Such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Experience working with microservices and a clear understanding of how services communicate, fail, and recover.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure).
  • Fluency in spoken English is a MUST. You will be on live client calls regularly.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical ability. How you break down an unfamiliar problem matters more to us than the list of frameworks you have used.
  • Real ownership and a proactive mindset. You pick things up, unblock yourself, and deliver without being managed through the details.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player in a fast-moving, cross-functional team.

Nice to have:
  • Experience building agentic workflows, custom AI tooling, or MCP integrations.
  • Experience with the React ecosystem: hooks, state management such as Redux or Zustand, and modern build tooling.
  • Kubernetes or other orchestration experience.
  • Experience integrating LLMs into production features.
  • Message queues or event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
  • Prior experience working with clients or teams across time zones.

What’s in it for you?
  • Opportunity to work on an exciting and innovative project.
  • Mentorship from experienced developers will help you enhance your skills and advance your career.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and growth.
  • A ground-level opportunity to join a growing company early and accelerate your career
  • A strong culture of excellence, mutual mentorship, and transparency.
  • Opportunity to work in fully operational, cross-functional product teams, giving you the opportunity to enhance your understanding of development and management.
