Company Description Foundect is a Shari’ah-compliant digital investment facilitation platform connecting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in emerging markets with micro-investors, angel investors, and institutional capital, starting in Bangladesh. The company focuses on ethical, equity-based financing to address structural undercapitalization among over 10 million SMEs that contribute significantly to the country’s GDP. Foundect does not lend money, charge interest, or manage investor funds; instead, it provides structured deal discovery, SME screening and documentation, transparent investment listings, and secure deal execution through regulated partners. The platform is being built to enable small-ticket, Shari’ah-aligned micro-investing for everyday individuals, supported by AI-assisted business profiling, risk visualization, and educational tools. Foundect is currently in early-stage development with a lean founding team and a long-term vision to scale across emerging markets where SME funding gaps persist.
