Based in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, the studio serves a diverse range of clients across industries. The team specializes in end-to-end film production, from concept development to final delivery. Role Description The Film Director will lead the creative vision and execution of film and video projects, overseeing all phases from pre-production through post-production. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting client briefs, collaborating on script development, guiding casting and rehearsals, directing on-set performances and camera work, and ensuring visual and narrative consistency. The role also involves close coordination with producers, cinematographers, editors, and sound designers to deliver projects on time and within budget. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gulshan, Dhaka, with primary on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility for planning, review, and coordination tasks.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Film Direction skills, including visual storytelling, shot planning, and performance direction.
• Candidates should possess Scriptwriting and story development skills to shape engaging narratives aligned with client objectives.
• Candidates should possess Video Production and Film Production skills, including experience with camera setups, lighting, and on-set workflows.
• Candidates should possess Post-Production awareness, with the ability to collaborate effectively with editors, colorists, and sound teams.
• Candidates should have demonstrated experience directing commercials, short films, or online video content, preferably in a studio or agency setting.
• Candidates should have strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide diverse creative and technical teams.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
• A relevant academic background in Film, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
• Familiarity with contemporary film technologies, digital cameras, and editing software, as well as an understanding of local and global media trends, is beneficial.
