Role Description The Fashion Designer will create original apparel concepts and collections that align with Tex International Ltd.’s brand vision and market needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends, developing mood boards, sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, and preparing technical specifications for production. The role also involves collaborating closely with merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and delivered on time. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, requiring regular coordination with cross-functional stakeholders and participation in fittings and sample reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong fashion design skills, including trend research, concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
• Proficiency in using design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software) and creating detailed technical packs.
• Knowledge of textiles, garments manufacturing processes, fabric behavior, and quality standards.
• Experience collaborating with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to translate designs into finished products.
• Excellent attention to detail, color and style sense, and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, inclusive approach to working with diverse colleagues.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field; prior experience in the apparel industry is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh and commit to a full-time schedule.
