Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fabric Inspector role based in Dhamrai Upazila. The Fabric Inspector will examine woven and knit fabrics for defects, color variation, and consistency according to company standards and customer specifications. Daily tasks include operating inspection machines, measuring fabric length and width, recording inspection results, and labeling batches appropriately. The role involves coordinating with production and quality teams to report non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring only approved fabrics move forward in the production process. The Fabric Inspector will also help maintain a clean, safe inspection area and adhere to all workplace safety and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications

• Ability to visually identify fabric defects, color shading, and pattern irregularities with strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of fabric types, weaving and knitting processes, and common textile quality standards (training can be provided).
• Comfort with using fabric inspection machines, measurement tools, and simple record-keeping systems or spreadsheets.
• Good communication skills to report issues clearly and collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle fabric rolls safely, and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in textile inspection, garment quality control, or related manufacturing roles is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn, follow standard operating procedures, and meet production and quality targets consistently.
• Minimum secondary education; vocational or technical training in textiles or quality control is a plus.
