Job Responsibilities
- Achieve departmental Annual Business Plan (ABP) target with assigned category and assist in preparing analysis and actionable strategies accordingly.
- Ensure the right product assortment through increasing margins and profitable pricing strategy in the assigned category.
- Issue and authorize Purchase Orders (PO).
- Ensure on-time delivery of products, maintain optimum stock levels through proper demand planning, replenishment (Push & Pull Driven) and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecast demand through stock/order analysis, availability trend analysis and demand-based product selection to ensure product availability.
- Analyze vendor information and evaluate vendor performance.
- Perform item-wise sales and profit analysis and enhance category visibility to meet customer needs and financial objectives.
- Conduct market surveys on product availability, pricing, product range, consumer behavior and competition to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to improve margins through profitable pricing strategies.
- Drive promotional activities to increase sales and profits.
- Forecast promotional execution to achieve financial goals.
- Experience: 1-2 years
