Job Context
We are looking for bright, analytical, and proactive professionals to join our Planning Department as Executive / Sr. Executive – Planning. The selected candidates will work closely with the Planning Lead in developing and executing production plans across Dyeing, Weaving, Finishing, and Delivery, ensuring optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials while meeting production and shipment commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly production plan based on order requirements, capacity, utilization of resources and meeting delivery commitments.
- Coordinate production planning across Dyeing, Weaving, Finishing, and Delivery processes.
- Analyze order loading, machine capacity, utilization, manpower, material availability and production constraints to support effective planning.
- Prepare and monitor Plan vs. Actual Production and identify deviations, bottlenecks and potential delays. Root cause analyzes and takes corrective action to improve the shortfalls.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Material Management, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of order and ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor machine loading and production capacity and assist in optimizing available resources.
- Follow up on raw-materials, dyes and chemical availability to minimize production interruptions caused by material unavailability and shortages.
- Identify potential production risks and support the development of contingency and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate planning-related data in the ERP system and ensure timely updates. Prepare planning reports, MIS, dashboards and management updates using ERP and MS Excel.
- Monitor key planning and production KPIs such as efficiency, utilization, lead time, schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
- Support initiatives for lead-time reduction, bottleneck elimination, productivity improvement and cost optimization.
- Experience: 2-4 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
- Skills: productionplanning, production planning, workforce planning, project planning, demand planning, merchandise planning, demand supply planning
