Job Context:


We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Executive / Senior Executive - Demand Planning to oversee and enhance our demand planning processes. This role will be pivotal in accurately forecasting materials and general consumables, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement demand planning methods to create accurate forecasts for materials and consumables, leveraging historical data and market trends.
  • Analyze historical data and market information to produce reliable demand forecasts, identifying patterns and anomalies that may impact planning.
  • Work closely with procurement, marketing, supply chain, and other relevant teams to validate demand forecasts and align strategies.
  • Utilize and optimize forecasting tools and software to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely and actionable insights.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations on demand forecasts, inventory status, and potential risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of forecast variances, identifying underlying issues and implementing corrective actions to improve future accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process, staying updated on best practices and emerging trends.


Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Requirements
