Role Description The Executive Officer – International Coordination and Public Relations is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This position is responsible for coordinating communication and collaboration with international partners, suppliers, and clients to support business development and project execution. The role includes drafting and reviewing business correspondence, preparing presentations and reports, and maintaining accurate records of international dealings. The Executive Officer will also manage public relations activities, including media outreach, event coordination, and brand communication across digital and traditional channels. Day-to-day tasks involve liaising with internal departments, supporting senior management in negotiations, monitoring global industry trends, and ensuring that all external communications reflect the company’s values and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business communication, report writing, and presentation development for international and local stakeholders.
- Experience in public relations, media coordination, and event management, preferably in industrial or corporate settings.
- Proficiency in English and Bangla, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for cross-cultural communication.
- Ability to conduct market and industry research and analyze global trends relevant to the Power, Chemical, and Petroleum sectors.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfort with MS Office tools and common digital communication platforms; familiarity with social media and corporate branding is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in international coordination, trading, or corporate relations is preferred but not mandatory.
