- Develop new customers and business opportunities among garment factories, buying houses, apparel manufacturers, and other relevant industries.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular market visits to RMG factories, buying houses, and potential customer locations to identify business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the company's range of woven, non-woven, knit and other interlining solutions according to customer requirements.
- Understand customers' product, quality, technical, and delivery requirements and communicate them effectively with the relevant internal teams.
- Generate inquiries, collect requirements, and follow up systematically to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate with the Technical/R&D, Laboratory, Production, Planning, Commercial and Accounts teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Follow up on sample development, submission, testing, approval, and product customization whenever required.
- Prepare quotations/proposals and assist in product costing and pricing discussions in coordination with the concerned team
- Follow up on the complete order cycle from inquiry and order confirmation through production, delivery/shipment, and payment collection.
- Monitor order and delivery status and ensure timely communication with customers regarding progress, delivery schedules, and any issues.
- Resolve customer queries and coordinate internally for timely resolution of quality, technical, production or delivery-related issues.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales/business targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer demands and new business opportunities and share relevant market intelligence with management.
- Maintain updated customer databases, sales pipelines, visit reports, inquiry records and other necessary marketing documents.
- Prepare regular sales and market reports for management.
- Participate in customer meetings, product presentations, business development activities, exhibitions, and other promotional activities when required.
- Perform any other relevant responsibilities assigned by the management.
- Experience: 1-3 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
- Skills: garment manufacturing, garment industry knowledge, garment production, technical knowledge of garment production, sales support, textile industry knowledge, sales management, knit garment manufacturing, identifying sales opportunities, sales administration
