Job Responsibilities-

End User Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and user access/connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and required software.
• Handle IT support requests, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365, email, and business application-related issues.
• Maintain IT equipment records and coordinate hardware repair or replacement when required.

Infrastructure & System Administration

• Manage and support Windows/Linux servers, network devices, virtualization platforms, ERP environments, and security systems, ensuring secure and reliable day-to-day operations.
• Deploy and administer VMware ESXi, Proxmox, or Hyper-V virtualization environments, including VM provisioning, resource management, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain server and infrastructure monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• Develop monitoring dashboards for server health, resource utilization, performance, and availability.
• Plan and execute patch management, backup/restore, and disaster recovery procedures across primary and DR sites.

Network & Perimeter Security

• Configure and administer firewalls and network appliances such as FortiGate, Cisco, F5/FortiADC, or equivalent platforms.
• Manage firewall policies, VPNs, network segmentation, load balancing, and High Availability (HA) configurations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and inter-site connectivity across plant and office locations.
• Monitor network performance and ensure secure, stable, and reliable connectivity.

Security Operations & Incident Response

• Deploy and manage Endpoint Protection and EDR solutions such as Kaspersky, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender.
• Monitor security events, investigate malware and endpoint threats, and perform incident containment and remediation.
• Administer SIEM and log management platforms such as Wazuh or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Configure and maintain alert tuning, correlation rules, and security monitoring integrations.
• Manage DLP and user activity monitoring solutions to protect sensitive information and prevent data leakage.
• Investigate phishing attempts, malicious URLs, suspicious files, and security incidents using IOC analysis, sandboxing, and forensic techniques.
• Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with relevant system owners.

Governance, Vendors & Security Awareness

• Evaluate solutions from multiple OEM vendors through PoCs and technical validation.
• Recommend suitable technology solutions based on business requirements, technical feasibility, security, and budget.
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams for implementations, upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and security best-practice sessions for employees.
• Support ISO/IEC 27001, corporate IT policies, and audit requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date infrastructure, security, configuration, and operational documentation.

Qualifications-

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
• Candidates with strong professional certifications and proven hands-on experience may be given preference over academic background.
• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Experience in a manufacturing, multinational, or 24/7 critical-operations environment is an advantage.
