Executive - International Procurement & LC Management

• Manage the end-to-end international procurement cycle, from supplier sourcing and quotation/Proforma Invoice (PI) collection through shipment and delivery.
• Prepare, process, and follow up on Letters of Credit (LCs) with banks, including LC opening, amendments, negotiation, and settlement.
• Liaise with banks regarding LC requirements, margin arrangements, documentation, and compliance with applicable trade finance practices, including UCP 600.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, C&F agents, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth import operations.
• Track shipment schedules and proactively follow up to ensure timely arrival, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Prepare, review, and verify import documentation, including PI, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Insurance Documents, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with C&F agents regarding Bill of Entry, customs duty assessment, and clearance through Chattogram/Dhaka ports and airports.
• Monitor exchange rates, freight costs, duties, taxes, and LC-related charges to support landed-cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Bangladesh Bank, NBR, customs, and import regulations.

Salary: Monthly BDT 30k to 40k

Experience

• 2 years of relevant experience in international procurement, import operations, LC processing, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
