Executive, Internal Audit

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Internal Auditor role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Internal Auditor will plan and execute risk-based audits across financial, operational, and compliance processes, ensuring that internal controls are effective and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation and transactions, testing controls, identifying control gaps, and preparing clear audit workpapers and reports. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to discuss findings, recommend practical improvements, and follow up on remediation actions. The Internal Auditor will also help enhance audit methodologies, support the development of internal policies, and contribute to continuous improvement of governance and risk management practices.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in auditing, internal controls, and risk assessment, with the ability to evaluate financial and operational processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to interpret audit evidence, prepare structured documentation, and present findings clearly.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements relevant to B2B commerce, logistics, and financial services.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex issues in simple terms.
• High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CA, ACCA, or CPA are an advantage.
• Experience in internal audit, external audit, or related risk and compliance roles; experience in technology-driven or high-growth companies is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple audits simultaneously, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
