Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organizational development for Alok Dip Foundation. The role includes setting and executing the foundation’s vision and goals, overseeing programs and services, and ensuring effective management of budgets, resources, and compliance requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising and mentoring staff, coordinating with the board of directors, managing donor and partner relationships, and reporting on outcomes and impact. The Executive Director will lead fundraising and development efforts, represent the foundation in external meetings and events, and cultivate collaborations with community organizations and stakeholders. This role also involves monitoring performance metrics, improving internal processes, and promoting a culture of transparency, equity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including supervising teams, setting priorities, and overseeing program delivery.
• Strong strategic planning, organizational development, and decision-making skills to guide long-term growth and impact.
• Experience with fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, and stakeholder engagement in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences, build relationships, and collaborate across remote environments.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial oversight, and basic understanding of nonprofit governance and compliance.
• Comfort with remote work tools, project management software, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical practices, with sensitivity to diverse communities and perspectives.
• Relevant academic background (such as in management, social sciences, public administration, or related fields) or equivalent experience; prior experience in an executive or senior leadership role is highly preferred.
