Position: Executive – Accounts

Work Area: Dhaka

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Cash Book data in the software is updated on a daily basis
• Ensure Sales data in the software is updated on a daily basis
• Check and reconcile the Inventory sheet on a daily basis
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare and manage financial statements, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Process transactions using QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with tax computations, VAT filings, and audit documentation as required
• Coordinate with the head office in Dhaka for reporting and compliance matters
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Candidates who are Partly Qualified CA / CC will be given preference
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work based in Sylhet
