Role Description The English Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site position based in Sylhet. The instructor will deliver English language lessons to students of varying levels, using engaging teaching methods and appropriate educational resources. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to support language development. The role involves designing written and oral practice activities, monitoring classroom performance, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and achievement. The instructor will collaborate with colleagues to align teaching with institutional standards and may participate in workshops or counseling sessions to support students’ overall educational goals.
Qualifications

• Strong instructional skills in English Teaching, Teaching, and Language Teaching.
• Background in Education with the ability to design effective curricula and learning activities.
• Proficient Writing skills for preparing teaching materials, assessments, and student feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (master’s degree or relevant certifications such as TESOL/TEFL are an advantage).
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with clear, student-centered delivery.
• Prior experience teaching English in a classroom or institutional setting, preferably with mixed-level groups.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful learning environment and work effectively with diverse learners.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability in managing classes and academic records.
• Comfort with using basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with the wider educational team.
