Role Description The Engineer at ABC Chemical will work on-site in Dhaka in a full-time capacity, supporting the development, optimization, and production of chemical additives and cement mixtures. Daily tasks include supervising manufacturing processes, monitoring plant operations, and ensuring products meet technical specifications and quality standards. The role involves conducting tests on raw materials and finished products, analyzing data, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and product performance. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams on troubleshooting, safety compliance, and implementation of new formulations or equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation for regulatory and internal audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in chemical engineering, materials engineering, or a related field, with knowledge of cement chemistry and construction materials.
• Experience in process engineering, production supervision, or plant operations within chemical, cement, or related manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with quality control methods, laboratory testing, and data analysis for raw materials and finished products.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in using engineering and productivity tools, such as basic process simulation, MS Office, and data management software.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across production, maintenance, and management teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple tasks, and respond to operational issues in a timely manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering (materials focus), or a closely related discipline; relevant industry experience is an advantage.
