- Create and develop original embroidery designs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
- Use specialized embroidery software to digitize designs
- Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and needles for each project
- Operate and maintain embroidery machines
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of embroidered pieces
- Stay updated with current trends and techniques in embroidery
- Customize and personalize designs to meet specific customer requests
- Work closely with other designers and production staff
- Prepare sketches and sample patterns for approval
- Review and test designs for feasibility and durability
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary materials
- Adjust and correct designs based on feedback
- Keep detailed records of designs and production processes.
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education: diploma in textile engineering
- Skills: embroidery digitizing, embroidery, embroidery techniques, embroidery machine operation, machine embroidery, technical knowledge of garment production, textile design, textile industry knowledge, garment industry knowledge, needlework
