We're hiring: Embedded System Engineer

Headless Technologies Limited (https://headless.ltd) is looking for an Embedded System Engineer to design, build and deploy connected hardware products.

Location: Dhanmondi, Dhaka (on site)

Type: Full time — Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: BDT 25,000 – 45,000/month (depending on experience)

Experience: Minimum 1 year

• Design, prototype and build embedded systems using Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Android-based single board computers.
• Write and debug firmware/software in C/C++ and Python for microcontrollers (AVR, ESP32/ESP8266, STM32) and Linux-based boards.
• Interface sensors, actuators and modules over GPIO, ADC, MDB, PWM, I2C, SPI, UART, RS232/RS485 and Modbus.
• Build IoT connectivity using Wi-Fi, BLE, Ethernet, MQTT and HTTP/HTTPS, and integrate devices with backend services and dashboards.
• Read schematics, assist with circuit design and PCB layout, and do board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting.
• Work with the software and product teams to take a prototype through to a stable, deployable product.
• Document your work — schematics, wiring, firmware notes and test results.
  

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on embedded development experience.
• Solid C/C++ and Python; comfortable working close to the hardware.
• Practical experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar SBCs, including Linux basics on Raspberry Pi.
• Working knowledge of common peripheral and communication interfaces.
• Ability to debug with a multimeter, logic analyser or oscilloscope.
• B.Sc. in CSE, EEE, ETE or a related field (strong self-taught portfolios are welcome).
  

• Android box / Android-based device customisation.
• PCB design in KiCad, Eagle or Altium.
• RTOS (FreeRTOS) or embedded Linux experience.
• Edge AI or computer vision on embedded hardware.
• A GitHub profile or personal projects we can look at.
