Company Description The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a teaching and research-focused academic unit based in Dhaka. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role located at the Dept. of EEE, AUST in Dhaka. The Electrical Engineer will support teaching and research activities by assisting with laboratory setup, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment, and ensuring safe operation of power and control systems. Daily tasks include participating in electrical design for instructional and research projects, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with faculty and technical staff on power systems and distribution needs. The role also involves monitoring system performance, supporting experiments and demonstrations, and contributing to continuous improvement of departmental infrastructure and practices.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and practical implementation of electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Power Systems and Power Distribution in academic or industrial settings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to work safely with laboratory and field equipment, following relevant standards and regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with faculty, staff, and learners.
- Experience with electrical simulation tools, CAD software, or relevant engineering software is beneficial.
- Prior experience in academic, research, or industrial electrical engineering environments is an advantage.
