Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Sitakunda. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems and equipment across production lines and plant facilities. Daily tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing inspections, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with mechanical, production, and safety teams to optimize power distribution, reduce downtime, and support new installations or upgrades. The Electrical Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, support energy efficiency initiatives, and provide guidance to technicians and operators on proper electrical system operation.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and practical application of Electricity in industrial settings.
• Candidates should possess core Electrical Engineering skills, including analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems for managing and optimizing facility-wide electrical infrastructure.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in heavy industry, steel manufacturing, or large-scale industrial plants is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Sitakunda.
