Educational Counselor

Position Purpose

The Education Counsellor will help international students select the right course and institute based on their profile, budget, and limitations to help them achieve their desired goals.

The role will also be responsible for driving customer service, satisfaction, retention, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on Australian universities, courses, scholarships, and study pathways.
• Assist students with university applications, admissions, visa documentation, and pre-departure guidance.
• Follow up with prospective students and provide excellent customer service.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.
• Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/tracker.
• Participate in seminars, education fairs, marketing campaigns, and promotional events.
• Achieve individual and branch admission/enrolment targets.
• Stay updated on Australian education policies and visa regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth application processing.

Additional Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in student counselling, education consultancy, or a relevant field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems will be an advantage.
• Candidates from an English Medium educational background will be given preference.
• Candidates with prior teaching experience will be given priority.
• Preferred degrees are Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Experience must be within 2-3 years.
