Role Description:

Job Title: Education Counsellor

Destinations: UK, Australia, North America & Europe

Location: Dhaka (Dhanmondi and Banani), Chattogram, Sylhet

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 2+ years of work experience as an education counsellor

Salary and incentive: Industry Competitive (based on experience and expertise)

Key Responsibilities:

· Counsel students and parents on higher education opportunities abroad, including country-specific education systems, universities, course options and scholarship opportunities (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.).

·  Assess students' academic profile, English language proficiency scores, and career goals to recommend suitable universities and programmes.

·  Guide students in shortlisting universities based on eligibility, budget, ranking, and career aspirations.

· Advise on scholarship opportunities, tuition fees, and cost-of-living estimates for different study destinations.

·  Assist students with the complete application process — SOP, LOR, CV preparation, application submission and scholarship application.

· Provide accurate guidance on student visa requirements, documentation, and application procedures for various countries.

· Prepare students for visa interviews and conduct mock interview sessions.

· Coordinate with partner universities and admission representatives to stay updated on intake deadlines, entry requirements, and offer letters.

·  Assist students with accommodation guidance, pre-departure briefings, and travel-related information.

·  Organise and participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and university representative visits.

·  Handle walk-in, phone, and online inquiries, converting leads into successful enrollments.

·  Maintain accurate records of student files, application status, and visa outcomes in the CRM system.

·  Follow up regularly with students at each stage — application, offer letter, visa processing, pre-departure in-person enrolment after arrival.

·  Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on counselling performance, application success rates, and visa approval ratios.

·  Meet application, payment, visa success enrollment

·  Stay updated on immigration policies, visa rule changes, and new university partnerships.

·  Ensure ethical counselling practices in compliance with company policy and destination country regulations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

· Ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a supportive team member
