Role Description The Dubbing Recordist will be responsible for managing and operating recording equipment during dubbing sessions in an on-site studio environment in Chattogram, Bangladesh. This full-time role includes setting up microphones, audio interfaces, and monitoring systems; performing sound checks; and ensuring clean, high-quality audio capture for voice-over and dubbing projects. The Dubbing Recordist will coordinate with directors, sound engineers, and voice artists, monitor recording levels, handle retakes, and maintain organized session files. Daily tasks also include basic troubleshooting of equipment, applying initial audio edits where needed, and collaborating with the post-production team to prepare recordings for mixing and final delivery. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to project timelines, and a commitment to maintaining professional studio standards.
Qualifications

• Strong understanding of audio recording principles, including microphone placement, gain staging, and signal flow.
• Hands-on experience with professional recording consoles, audio interfaces, and studio monitoring systems.
• Practical knowledge of digital audio workstations (e.g., Pro Tools, Nuendo, Reaper, or similar) and basic editing workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively with directors, sound engineers, and voice talent in a studio environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve audio issues such as noise, distortion, or sync problems.
• Strong organizational skills for managing session logs, file naming conventions, and project backups.
• Good communication skills in English and Bangla, with the ability to give and receive clear technical instructions.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Chattogram and adapt to production schedules that may require flexibility.
• Prior experience in dubbing, voice-over recording, or film/TV post-production is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Media Production, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
